If the IP address shows up again, at "DNS Machine Name", your Internet Service Provider could be revealing your geographic location, is not a secure way of doing things.

Internet Speed
Internet Service
Internet Service and speeds available in Cheyenne County, Kansas as of May
2008. Below are the ones I know of. Displayed by speed.
A dial-up account has a maximum speed of up to 53.3 kb/sec. A broadband account download/upload may be up to 256/256 kbps or say up to 1500/384 kbps.
The Transfer Rate is a conversion from bits to Bytes, there are 8 bits to a Byte. For communication data 1000 bits = 1kb. We will actually be converting kilobits to kilobytes. The reason for this conversion is the download window will show how fast the file downloaded in kilobytes per second.
kilobits are abbreviated to kb
kilobytes are abbreviated to kB
The speed is measured per second
kilobits per second = kbps = kb/sec
kilobytes per second = kBps = kB/sec
The Transfer Rate is all about the time it takes for a web page to load or to download a file, measured in kB/sec:
Chart
Package Speed
Maximum Transfer Rate
A Reasonable Transfer Rate
53.3k (dial-up)
6.6625 kB/sec
5 kB/sec
256k (broadband)
32 kB/sec
26 kB/sec
1500k (broadband)
187.5 kB/sec
135 kB/sec
The "/" means divided by. Formula:
kilobits / 8 = kilobytes
or
kb / 8 = kB
Calculate the Maximum Transfer Rate based on the "up to" package an Internet Service Provider will advertise. Can use the figures from the Chart to get a feel for it.
Please make use of Speed Test Sites links to test your Internet speed. Most speed test sites will give you both kb and kB.
